The power of one.

When Black people and their allies protest, they are protesting against the Racial Hierarchy in all its various forms, but when non-allied white people protest, particularly white men, they are protesting their incompetence or their inability to gain from it.

The Racial Hierarchy is American born and bred and because it is the fundamental social structure upon which this nation is framed, whenever Black people and their allies protest against some version of it, the push-back narrative advanced by right-wing media (aka: white preservation media) and other financial profiteers of whiteness, is that Black people are protesting America itself.

Logically, they’re right. America’s foundation rests on the Racial Hierarchy.

And as a result, there is fear and anger when people find they are not benefiting from a system designed to privilege them by a skin-colored birthright.
